Description
Mixtile 2-in-1 Zigbee & Z-Wave mPCIe Interface Module is an EFR32 Series 2 (Silicon Labs EZSP v8) adapter that transmits at a power of +20 dBm. When plugged into a standard mini-PCIe interface, it supports full-speed USB 2.0.
Mixtile 2-in-1 Zigbee & Z-Wave mPCIe Interface Module is based on a Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 SoC with an IEEE 802.15.4 multi-protocol 2.4GHz radio MCU and Silicon Labs EFR32ZG23 SoC with Sub-GHz radio MCU.
EFR32MG24 is capable of concurrently running both Zigbee 3.0 (EmberZNet/EZSP) and Thread (OpenThread/Matter/CHIP over Thread) stacks/protocols at the same time by using firmware in RCP (Radio Co-Processor) mode. EFR32ZG23 is capable of running Z-Wave protocol.
