You can upgrade the firmware of Mixtile Blade 3 using a USB cable or using a microSD card. It is recommended that you perform an upgrade using a USB cable. For details about how to upgrade firmware using a USB cable, see Upgrade Firmware via USB Cable.
To upgrade using a MicroSD card, you need to use a card building tool on the PC to write to the MicroSD card. This operation can only be completed on the Windows system.
Important:
Back up data before a firmware upgrade, because all user data is deleted after a firmware upgrade.
Note:
Upgrading using a microSD card has known issues. For details, see Known Issues.
