Mixtile Blade 3 is a stackable high-performance single board computer based on Rockchip RK3588. Equipped with Octa-core 64-bit processor, maximum of 32GB RAM and 256GB eMMC storage, multiple peripheral interfaces including 4-lane PCIe Gen3, SATA 3.0, MIPI CSI and dual 2.5Gb Ethernet, it is ideal for ARM servers, mini PC, compact computing clusters and edge computing.
At the heart of Mixtile Blade 3 is the RK3588 SoC, an 8nm-fabricated, low-power and high-performance processor with Quad-core Cortex-A76 and Quad-core Cortex-A55. There is also a powerful, Quad-core ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU and a 6-TOPS NPU, enhancing AI-workload performance and providing extensive machine learning support.
Mixtile Blade 3 can be used as a standalone SBC. You can even cluster Blade 3 boards via PCIe Gen3 ports with customized cables or Mixtile Breakout Boards and PCIe-to-PCIe Cables to get multiple processing cores, ports, and everything. The daisy-chain topology used to cluster Mixtile Blade 3 boards is more economical, user-friendly, and faster than the alternatives.
.
*For N Blade 3 boards clustering, you will need N Breakout Boards and N-1 PCIe-to-PCIe Cables.
Mixtile also designed Mixtile Cluster Box, an enclosure with built-in PCIe switch designed to accommodate a four-node cluster of Mixtile Blade 3 boards, providing higher computing power, faster network speed, and larger storage space. It has an ASM2824 PCIe Switch chip, with 4 downstream ports configured as PCIe 3.0 ×4 and connected to the U.2 interface. Blade 3 boards can be connected to the product chassis through the U.2 interface.
Mixtile enables you to configure an ARM Server with clusters of up to 75 RK3588-Based SBCs in a standard 2U, 19-inch chassis.
*Mixtile Cluster Box and Blade 3 boards should be purchased separately.
There is a Mini PCIe interface and a 30-pin GPIO header for expansion, as well as U.2 edge connector with 12V, PCIe Gen 3.0 x 4 and SATA signals to interface with other Mixtile boards and build clusters. It’s perfect for AI, edge computing and image data processing.
Mixtile Blade 3 supports high-definition multimedia out (up to 8K@60fps), multimedia in (up to 4K@60fps), two Display Port 1.4a (up to 8K@30fps) over Type-C and 4-lane MIPI-CSI. With powerful H.265/VP9 decoding up to 8K@60fps and H.264/H.265 encoder up to 8K@30fps on the board, real-time video processing is available.
With standard Pico-ITX mainboard (100 x 72 mm) and standard interfaces, Mixtile Blade 3 is designed for space-limited embedded application, meeting the increasing market demand and highly customer-specific requirements of the Industrial IoT industry.
For boasting much more space expansion, it provides a maximum of 32GB RAM memory and 256GB eMMC storage. Enjoy faster read-and-write speed and relatively lower power consumption.
With on-board dual 2.5Gb Ethernet for higher network speed, Mixtile Blade 3 is perfect for server applications.
Additionally, we also designed the Blade 3 Case specifically for the Blade 3 board. It provides ultimate protection. The built-in breakout board converts the U.2 port to M.2 Key-M connector, allowing you to install M.2 NVMe SSD easily. It is an excellent accessory for those interested in our Blade 3 board.
