Cluster Box utilizes the OpenWrt system. Mixtile will provide a software package enabling the PCIe interface to function as a virtual network interface. This TCP/IP over PCIe solution offers performance properties beyond what can be achieved with a traditional network interconnected system, even without modifying or recompiling the existing software.
The core of the Cluster Box features a state-of-the-art backplane board. Driven by the ASM2824 PCIe Packet Switch chip, this board enables flawless connectivity among Blade 3 boards. With four downstream ports configured as PCIe 3.0 ×4, you can rely on the backplane’s robust performance and reliability to ensure continuous data transmission.
A neat and compact system instead of the usual acrylic case and spacers setup, Cluster Box connects up to four Mixtile Blade 3 boards via PCIe interface, functioning as a high-performance unified 4-node ARM cluster. This configuration amplifies your computational capabilities, enabling you to easily tackle complex tasks, process data-intensive applications, and accelerate your workflows.
Specially adopts the design of Captive Screw, which can be disassembled and installed directly by hand without tools.
Running out of storage space is no need to be concerned with the Mixtile Cluster Box. You can take advantage of its expansive storage capabilities by connecting your Blade 3 boards to the Cluster Box’s chassis via the U.2 interface. Four NVMe M.2 M-Key slots support PCIe 3.0 ×2 and are fully compatible with NVMe SSD. Scale your storage capacity as your needs grow, ensuring you never have to compromise on storing critical data or large-scale projects.
To maintain optimal performance, Mixtile Cluster Box features a customized small chassis equipped with two internal 60mm fans. These fans ensure efficient cooling for the cluster, preventing overheating and maintaining stability during demanding computing tasks.
